A feed of the people you follow
Posts and stories from your following list, in order, with nothing inserted. Comments, likes and saves. Keep your account public, or make it private so only approved followers can see it.
Messaging that keeps up
One-to-one and group conversations, voice notes, photos and files, with everything shared in a conversation gathered on one screen. Messages are stored on our servers, not end-to-end encrypted.
Voice and video calls
Real calls between accounts, one to one or in a group, that survive putting the app in the background and let you jump back into a call in progress.
Prayer times and the Qibla
Today’s times for where you are, with the calculation method your region uses, and a compass pointing at the Kaaba. The Qibla is worked out on your phone, so it still works offline.
A curated Arabic library
Seven collections and more than two thousand entries: lectures of Sheikh Ahmed al-Waeli, sayings of Imam Ali, daily verses, latmiyat and anasheed, and biographies. Browse by format, or search it.
Dominoes
Four seats, partners across the table, week, month and all-time leaderboards. Text and voice chat at the table, and bots to fill the empty seats when your friends are asleep.
Tools that actually stop things
Report a post or an account without the other person being told. Block, and the follows go both ways. Approve every follower. Reports are read by people, not only by a filter.
Off until you ask for it
Contact sync and location sharing are switched off, and stay off until you turn them on and an administrator approves your account. The app is complete without either of them.
The short version of the privacy policy
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and there is no advertising in the app.
Signing in needs a phone number. That is the one thing there is no way around.
The two features that read sensitive things — your address book and your location — are off by default and need an administrator to approve your account before they will even switch on.
Messages are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. We would rather say so on the front page than bury it.
You can delete your account yourself, from Settings, without asking anyone. Read the policy for exactly what deletion does and does not remove.
